Astro 1200 is an electric insert with a 3D LED flame. A system of prisms, LEDs and a rear mirror gives the flame depth. It has resin logs and decorative crystals behind a glass panel.
It heats on two levels, 1500 W or 3000 W, and has a thermostat and timer. You can change the colour and brightness of three zones: flame, illuminated bed and light on the logs. It is operated by remote control and a wireless wall panel, both included.

Will it fit in your home?
Opening: 1227 x 717 x 262 mm (W x H x D). It can also be hung on the wall with the included bracket or partly recessed.
Room: the manufacturer does not publish a minimum room size or recommended floor area.
Ventilation: no chimney needed. Do not block the appliance's air inlets or outlets.
Power: 220-240 V CEE 7/7 (Schuko) socket on a dedicated 15 A circuit, as per the manual.

Installation requirements
For a built-in installation, prepare a 1227 x 717 x 262 mm opening (W x H x D) with a socket at the back, near the top right corner. The manual recommends 12 or 16 mm plasterboard.
A qualified electrician must install a CEE 7/7 socket on a dedicated 15 A circuit at 220-240 V. The wall panel goes a maximum of 6 m from the fireplace.
It can be installed front-facing, in a corner or three-sided with the included side covers. It can also be hung on the wall or enclosed in an optional casing.
Safety
With the heating on, the unit gets warm. Keep furniture, curtains, clothing and other combustible materials 1 metre from the front. Do not cover the unit or block the vents.
Supervise children when they are in the room. Do not use it in areas with petrol, paint or flammable vapours.
Maintenance
No fuel and no ash to clean. Change the remote batteries once a year, or sooner if you use it a lot.
