Arcticon is a freestanding column bioethanol stove. It uses Planika's BEV technology: it burns only the fuel vapours, with no smoke, soot or odours. The top hood spreads the heat around the room.
The fuel goes in a 5 litre canister inside the casing. When it runs out, you swap it for another, with no decanting. The fire is visible from three sides and is controlled by remote or touch panel, with ECO mode to extend the burn time.

Will it fit in your home?
Dimensions: 32,1 cm wide, 126,2 cm high and 40 cm deep. Freestanding and portable, no opening needed.
Room: minimum 35 m³ (about 14 m² with a 2.5 m ceiling).
Ventilation: no chimney or duct. The room's air needs to be renewed at least once an hour.
Power: 230 V socket. Fuel: 5 L canister of 95-96.6 % bioethanol.

Installation requirements
Indoor use only. Just place it on the floor, connect the bioethanol canister and plug it in. No chimney or duct needed.
Respect the minimum room volume of 35 m³ and ventilate regularly while it is lit.
Safety
Planika's BEV technology burns only the bioethanol vapour. The liquid fuel stays in a closed tank and never touches the flame.
Temperature, fuel level and spill sensors switch the appliance off and cut the fuel if they detect a fault. The flame is protected by tempered glass.
Never leave the appliance lit without adult supervision. Keep children and pets away. The manufacturer recommends keeping a CO2 or dry powder extinguisher nearby.
If there is an error, the stove alerts you with sound and light signals. Humidity sensors stop operation if there is a spill.
Maintenance
No special maintenance needed. Use quality bioethanol as specified in the manual. According to Planika, BEV technology allows remote diagnostics by the technical service.
