The Prime Fire 2.0 790 is a Planika linear burner with BEV technology. It is designed to be built into a TV unit, media wall or bespoke recess. It needs no chimney or flue, just power.
It is one of the four sizes in the Prime Fire 2.0 range (590, 790, 990 and 1190 mm). It is also available with a frame and glass panels, the version required for freestanding, room divider, tunnel or island installations.

Will it fit in your home?
Opening / dimensions: 790 x 274 x 280 mm burner (W x H x D). It goes inside an enclosure; the manufacturer's DWG drawing gives the dimensions.
Room: minimum 44 m³, about 18 m² with a 2.5 m ceiling.
Ventilation: natural air change of 1 room volume per hour. No chimney or flue.
Power: 230 V. For Smart Home, the SHS module is connected by an installer. No gas or water.

Installation requirements
For indoor use only and always inside an enclosure. The manufacturer's manual requires the enclosure to be made of non-combustible materials, insulated from any flammable element, with high-temperature-resistant fixings and adhesives.
The room needs at least 44 m³ and an air change of 1 room volume per hour. Minimum operating temperature: 10 °C. Avoid damp or draughty spaces and do not cover the upper vents. Freestanding, room divider, tunnel or island installation requires the version with frame and glass panels.
Control and Smart Home
Includes remote control, built-in control panel and WiFi for the Planika BEV app (Google Play and App Store). From the app you adjust the flame and see the appliance's alerts.
The SHS module is optional. It connects the burner to a home automation system to switch it on and off, raise or lower the flame and read its status. It is installed by a professional.
Safety
BEV technology: a microprocessor controls the entire combustion. The cold fuel is stored in a sealed tank and only a small amount passes to the vapour generator, so the flame does not touch the liquid. The appliance alerts you with a sound signal and in the app.
The automatic pump fills the tank with no risk of spills. Use only 95-96.6 % bioethanol.
Consumption and running cost
The data sheet states 8 hours with a 4.3 L tank, measured in the lab with the flame on minimum. That is about 0.5 L per hour. With a high flame, consumption goes up.
Maintenance
Clean with a damp cloth and a mild detergent, with the appliance switched off and cold.
